Wizard's Arcana Tournament 2003
(minor tournament)

After the colleges of magic were paid to keep their hands out of the Blood Bowl league, they have been given several tournaments and promotional spots in which they may still exert some of their control on the games. The Wizard’s Arcana Tournament is one of these small
ways in which this power is exercised. As wizards find new less violent ways to settle their disputes, they still have a great love for the game. The wizards place bets on the teams that are entered into the tournament, the wizard holding the winning ticket getting whatever the wizards were betting on. No blood is spilled this way, as the colleges have a lack of new recruits to draw upon, and the disputes are still
settled with all the blood and carnage on the field.
The winning team is given 60,000 gp and the losing team 30,000 gp in addition to the normal match winnings. The winning team is also given 3 Healing Scrolls that can be saved until they are used. The runner-up gets only one. This is as per magic item card and must be used at the time of injury.
