Super Bowl

(premier division tournament).
The Super Bowl winning team gets 150,000 gp and the runner-up gets 100,000 gp. This money is added to the normal winnings for the game. Along with the eternal fame of winning this prestigious tournament, the head coach of the winning team gets to sign the contract of a particularly gifted recruit. This new addition to the team can play at any position (he does count toward position players, and can't be an ally or a Big Guy) and can start his career in the B-team or the A-team (premier team). The player starts with 0 spp's, but with a bonus skill. Additionally, this player is so talented, he can re-roll all his skill rolls when he reaches a new level (only if the head coach wants to because he's not satisfied of the first skill roll, and the second result stands no matter what), including the bonus skill. The player will also begin his career with +MA, +AG and a Magic Helmet. The finalist of the Superbowl will also receive a gifted player. He will start with a combination of two of the bonuses mentioned above (+MA, +AG, MH or bonus skill), and can also re-roll his skill rolls. These new players are permanent, and will not just last until the next premier division tournament. They cost 50K (winner) and 30K (finalist) more than the basic cost of the same starting player (i.e., a winner's team super player halfling would cost 80K). If the super player is sent to the B-team and not promoted to the premier team upon reaching his 5th skill (101 spp) or before, he will break his contract and leave the team for good. After all, he wasn't recruited to spend his promising career in an inferior team...
