One
of the most notable personal training establishments is
Slag’s Gym. Privately owned by one of the smartest
not to mention fastest and strongest Ogres, this fitness
club is exclusively members only. In addition, very few
memberships are ever given out. But for the best results,
you can only go to the best place, and Slag played for
several seasons being one of the best Ogres in the league.
Slag was also the first Ogre Team Captain ever, he also
led his team to many victories and tournament wins before
retiring to run his gym. In order to remain close to the
game he loved to play, he occasionally sponsors a
tournament of his own, which the prize money is only part
of the winnings. The year long pass to his gym is
probably one of the hardest things to get in the old
world.
The winning team receives
100,000 gp and the runner up receives 60,000 gp in
addition to the winnings for playing the match. The
winning team also receives a year membership to Slag’s
Gym for one player. During this time of training in the
gym, instead of rolling for a skill as normal, you may
use the membership to increase one attribute
automatically (this may be +1 MA, ST, AG, or even AV).
Only one player may use the membership,and it’s only
good for one stat increase. This may not take any stat
over +2 from its starting value.
When the player decides
to take his option for the stat increase, ask a commish
to witness the roll and refer to the following table:
