This... was unbelievable from the start. On the first turn, the newly minted Nightmare cow pulled up from the B team went berserk on the no-dodge liner that we'd lined up for a 3db, blew the 3db, blew the 2db after it, blew the 1db after _that_, then survived two different DTs as he futilely pushed the thing through the middle of the second formation of the defense, survived the two 2db-he-picks, made a gfi to finally push the liner out the other side, and dropped them on a 1db into the open... *** DEAD! *** Tabun elected to neither have a reroll or an apoth, and the weirdness was on.

The Nightmares, giving the ball to Polinis for opening drive duty, weathered near-suicidal efforts by the wood elves to stop her, leaving several of them fat and happy and waiting to be hit, which pretty well gutted the already-shorthanded wood elf team from the get-go. Polinis rumbled in on turn four amidst the broken woodie bodies.

On the ensuing kick, we got a blitz, putting Selthonna in position to score an effective one turn defensive TD with what we knew was coming next, when a wood elf catcher then immediately found himself in Lurve with the sight of Al'luryth in her shiny new magic corset, sitting in the stands to watch for only the second time in her career. She was happy to blow a kiss to him as the fans beat the tar out of him, the resulting scrum left the woodies' one turner exposed, who then sat down for the game under the Nightmares' dubious mercies... and the blowout was on. The woodies managed to get a kickoff-aided one turner with one of their other fast catchers, which was the only thing stopping the shutout as they were constantly fielding three to five players for the rest of the game, culminating most comically in a pitch invasion on the last kick in which the dark elf fans stormed the field on... all two standing wood elf players remaining plus three sitters on the field.

FF up. Gave 40k to the obliging Morningwood in exchange for burning A Better Offer, no skills. Al'luryth returns to a full lineup with her corset ready to run and leap.
