Comments:
Both teams lack of training was evident right from the opening siren, with the Ariels taking a few turns to remember the fine art of blocking, which allowed the dark elves to sack the ball carrier a few times, however they were also suffering from a lack of players as every now as the few chaos blocks that knocked them down put hit hard, leaving 3 players knocked out early in the game. There was a tussle for the ball in the mid-field, but the Chaos eventually overwhelmed the elves with numbers, scoring close to the end of the half. The scoring player made some abusive gestures towards the dark elf fans, and was caught by the ref, sitting out the rest of the game.

This allowed Perfect Dark an opportunity to tie up the game with the help of Rakarth's Bounding leap, a bit of push play and some fancy ball throwing (quite a few 2+ without a rr).
With only 7 players left on the field, the elvish offense crumbled against the overwhelming odds, their lack of confidence clearly showing as they dropped the ball in their own half, allowing the chaos to make use of their numbers advantage and claim an early defensive touchdown, leading on the scoreboard 2-1.

The dark elves weren't about to give in however, and sensing a chance to tie the game, all four knocked out players returnd to the pitch. With the numbers came confidence, and the players showed a hint of their true potential, moving the ball like pros to level the score at 2-2.

With three turns left to score and fairly even numbers, the chaos team could not stand up to the task, their blocking training quickly forgotten again not allowing them enough time to seal the victory.

Only 2 casualties here were dead, one apo's and the other replaced with generouse winnings + 10k donation from the Aerials.

Cheers for the game Souly!

Comments:
Perfect Dark opted to kick off to the rookie Chaos team. They got off to a quick blitz, however it was ended early by the beastman failing a blitz and burning a rr. From there it was the the Aerial's turn to prove they were the more inexperienced side, and in this battle the rerolls were quickly used by both sides.

There was not much exciting in either offense or defense, with the exception of Carrington getting badly hurt trying to dodge away from a chaos warrior, and the Aerials scored on turn 5. With few dark elves remaining to form a strong offense, the half ended with the Aerials up 1-0.

The dark elf offense stalled thanks to some failed ball carrying, but the CIA Agent proved his worth taking the ball from 2 tackle zones and passing to a waiting line elf for a quick two turn touch down.

The chaos offense was a bit slow moving forward, and Jonathan waited for the right moment to steal the ball from Ripnik thanks to an inspired play, and the Alaskan Guard was able to score a defensive touchdown to take the score to 2-1

Infuriated the chaos were quick off the mark, moving into blocking positions as the ball was kicked off, finding the defense just a little too close. The ball was picked up by a gust of wind, and the touch back found it safely in the arms of a strong chaos warrior. With no rerolls left the Aerials took few chances, tying the game 2-2 just before the full time siren.

The dark elves set up to kick, only to find out at the last minute that the new NSA Lackey had been injured in training and was unavailable to play.
A bad kick found the ball land a bit shallower than we'd hoped, and the undead were able to retreive it easyily enough. A well aimed boot saw the G5 Swat Guard leave the pitch for an "early retirement", and although we tried to attack the ball there was little stopping the undead once they had gotten into the cage.

However they got a bit overconfident and we were able to get into good position thanks to some good dodging to recover the ball. Dodging between players like they weren't even there, Cassandra was able to retrieve the ball and throw an accurate pass in the sun to the Alaskan Guard, who would have surely walked in a defensive touchdown if the ball hadn't been plucked out of the air by the waiting chaos warrior, intercepted at the last minute. With that our last hope ended and the undead stomped over the dark elves, scoring late in the first half.

The second half started, and down players we had little choice to play elf ball, making some risky rolls, but the elves were up to the challenge, equalizing on turn 2.

The undead offense looked unstoppable, until Cassandra and the FBI agent teamed up to blitz through their defenders and hit the ball carrier running along the side line. The ball bounced into the crowd's awaitng hands and they threw it back favourably for the dark elves. Showing a promise of future agility, Dr. Carrol got up and grabbed the ball, and threw it deep into the defensive half, a last desperate attempt at tying the game.

Unfortunately a zombie had been watching us closely, and managed to imitate our amazing feats of agility, not only to picking up the ball, but also making the game winning pass to the wight, who ran the winning touch down in right on the buzzer!

The elves won the toss and chose to kick. The Lust came out hitting hard, beating armour on the majority of their blocks, but they weren't able to do any permanent damage other than hurting a rookie line elf, only knocking out three elves. The undermanned defense couldn't do much more than get in the way, which was enough to allow Jonathan to blitz into a lose cage and sack the ball carrier, catching the dropped ball. However the pressure was too much for him, and he slipped on his own pool of sweat trying to escape the Nordic counterattack. Losing the ball and his self-respect. WHICH HE QUICKLY REGAINED THE NEXT TURN SACKING THE BALL CARRIER A SECOND TIME, seriously injuring him, but he was unable to recover the ball and the Norse finally regained momentum and the ball, opening the score only second before half time.

The elves set up for offense and down players set up for a quick touchdown. Avoiding the usual perfect defense or blitz they managed to make a break up the right wing, the lust's defense was pretty solid but Jonathan proved his worth again slipping past the defenders to level the score 1-1.

A short kick ended up a little to short and the ball was given to a blitzer. He found himself a bit open after the elves slipped past the defenders again, but there weren't enough Perfect Dark players left on the field to really stop the norse scoring in 3 turns.

Perfect Dark answered with almost a duplication of their first touchdown, a quick snap of the LoS helping to make a play down the right levelling the scores at 2-2 with 3 turns left to defend.

The Lust were not going to be denied the win however, and they answered back with a quick snap of their own. The few remaining dark elves were unable to stop them scoring the winning TD and taking the game!

Players progress fairly averagely, purchased a rr, gave away some cash and dumped the rest.

Cheers for the game!
