Rookie game in the rain to begin the new season, usual fumbling abounded. With the stronger players on this side, the nurgle beastmen had to dodge regularly and very reliably fell over, hurting themselves frequently. This helped our cause a great deal. On our side most players were competent enough, with only the bonehead ogre dragging things down...

Well, rookie vampires don't turn up in sufficient mass to make a game of it 3 drives out of 4... the drive they did turn up for him, he got a silly double skull before easily being able to score at the end of the first half.

Donated our winnings again, being the generous folks that we are, and the fan factor is up to 14 after 3 games... whoah.

Comments:
A wonderfully fun game. Started off dramatically with his first block slaying a palace guard with the hired healing helpless, saved by scroll... his second block was double skulls after his allies ate all the rerolls including the one stolen from me by the delicious cooking of his new chef.

A score was easy after that for me, and late in the half I could manage a second one after intercepting a pass, but thanks to little Belkar's evil ways I was quickly running out of players.

Second half a dancer tripped while endeavouring to get out of range, and that was enough to get scored on by Margaret Weis, who was so rude to my fans that the replacement ref had No Choice but to send her off. Tsk tsk Margaret.

Luckily the flings were running out too, and a deciding 3-1 score was made, hooray us!

Comments:
Not the most noble of matchups, but goblins are not the most noble of creatures. ;) As Slow Dance was casually using the poor man's piling on [p/s], the goblin stabbed him in the knee, rendering further such movements untenable. While the apothecary could tend this and supply some stern words to the goblin, their lack of respect for authority quickly showed as they injured him almost as severely on the next turn.

In the meantime, more skilled players were running rings around the goblins who honestly rolled a *lot* of 1's as well as being down a few skills, even if half our skills in the multitude of dirty players went appropriately unused.

Lots of new skills...

A good effort - the highest combined cas total outside of tournaments in at least about 3.5 years for me.

Was a tough game, the flings were about to score but a Hawkfing's curse and a helpful crowd gave the ball over and from there an easy defensive touchdown ended up being scored in the blizzard conditions. Defense to the half and then receiving with 7 players vs 11, not looking good, and a Blitz! made it look a lot worse. Luckily as they pushed forwards the kick landed perfectly for me and I could blitz my way free for the second touchdown of the game, numbers reduced even further.

Here the crowd took matters into their own hands seeing the desperation on offer from my team and a large pitch invasion sorted the halflings out. They could still eventually score as we each collected 2 or 3 permanent inuries in quick succession, but they no longer had the momentum to force an equaliser unless I failed some rolls. Conveniently I didn't!
