Item Store

Teams in the Premier Division can purchase the items below during the postgame sequence of a match ("team's purchases"). The team must clearly specify which item(s) it purchased in the match report, and should optimally have any item in its possession written on its team page (for coaches without HTML knowledge, an easy method to do so is given below). Any coach purchasing an item without any proof of its purchase (no trace of it on a match report and on the team page) will be considered as not having the item. Once purchased, an item remains the property of the team until used in a match, at which point it must be removed from the team page during the next update of the team, and its use must be specified in the match report. Items cannot be shared between teams, nor can they be given or exchanged to your opponent during a game for his personal use. A premier team can only have in its possession one healing item and one other normal item at all time. Importantly, also note that items from the Premier Division Item Store cannot be used in tournament games.

Put a purchased item on your team's web site, using The Scribe : This is only one of the many ways you can do this operation easily. Open your team page using The Scribe, and using the menus, "View / HTML Code". Spot this line of code :

"<TR ALIGN=CENTER><TD COLSPAN=7 ROWSPAN=2>"

Just to the right of this line, you can see "&nbsp". Replace "&nbsp" by the item purchased, adding any text you deem necessary. Save your document and follow the usual procedures to update your team page.

Furthermore, the Premier Division Item Store is open to enlarge its selection of items, thus, any coach can suggest an item of his creation to the commish team. The suggestion will be reviewed, and new items may be added to the list below at any period of time, and the person will receive credit.

Thanks to Donald and FluffyDog, who contributed some of the items on the list.

Normal Items

Rakarth's Last Chance
Special one-time only team Re-Roll that can be used in a turn even after another team Re-Roll has been wasted, but not to re-roll the same roll a third time.
Cost: 150K

Kelhoffer's Scroll of Self Control
This magic scroll can be used on a Big Guy at the start of the match before any team setup on the field. It will allow him to ignore any one negative skill for the entire game.
Cost: 110K

Hawkfing's Scroll of Mindbending
This scroll can be used before the announcer proclaims the mvp (or mvp's) for your team. It will allow you to force one mvp to go to any one of 1d6 player of your choice. This means that you roll 1d6, the result being your choice of players to which can go the mvp. You select the number of players according to your result. Your opponent then rolls 1dX where X is the result of your dice (this obviously means that if your result is a 1, the mvp automatically goes to the player of your choice, no need for your opponent to roll). This only works for one mvp, and any bonus mvp's you receive due to a handicap game will have to be determined normally.
Cost: 100K

Scutt's Enchantment of Beguiling Whispers
This spell causes magical word-of-mouth to be spread about the team after a game is played. After the game, when the normal Fan Factor roll is made, roll a d6. The result is the amount of bonus the team gets to the normal postgame Fan Factor roll. (1: +1; 2-3-4: +2; 5-6: +3.) A team whose Fan Factor is 35 or higher cannot buy this item.
Cost: 80K

Healing Items

Magical Healing Kit
With the help of this item, the apothecary cannot fail his roll, its an automatic success. The downside is that the Healing Kit is only usable in the Dugout. Thus, the player needs to be taken out of the field to be healed (place the player standing in the Reserves after using this item).
Cost: 150K

Minor Healing Scroll
This item can prevent a Seriously Injured player from missing the next game. The player still remains in the SI box (thus, a Magic Sponge will not bring him back into play), but he will be available for the next match. This item only removes the MNG status, not any other sort of permanent injury suffered.
Cost: 120K

Rakarth's Special Smelling Salts
For the duration of one game, the players come back from the KO box on a 3+ instead of a 4+.
Cost: 100K
