Rules changes for the new season (03 Aug 2008) The following rules changes are in effect for the new season in the OLBBL: 1. The limit of three games between two teams has been removed; any two teams may play any number of games against each other in the season, as long as neither team plays consecutive games against the same opponent. 2. A coach may now have two active B-teams at any one time. They may retire one of the two and activate another in its place once per season. Previous rules for B teams are otherwise unchanged. 3. The commissioner staff will be putting together random batches of free agents from time to time and posting them to the list for people to bid on. A public announcement will be made when each batch of free agents is put on the list. 4. Teams may drop rerolls at any time; once dropped they must be repurchased at the normal price. 5. Big guys on normal teams (i.e. not big guy teams) that reach at least 51 spps without +ST, +AV, or having removed a negative skill, may remove one negative skill on a normal skill roll for their third or any subsequent skill. A big guy taking a -neg on a normals is then immediately Peaked and may not gain any further Star Player Points or skills, including attempting to remove any other negative skills the player may have left. 6. The OLBBL bounties page is being revamped. Cujo will be in charge of the bounties page now, and is in the process of reconstituting it from the data that jhattara left behind.
