New rules, specifications or modifications for the new season  (06 Oct 2005)

Nurgle Race
A modified version of the official Nurgle race will be tested this season. The testers will be ElFishski, Khelanya, Mowie, and Ratphlegm. They will be tested using the following roster :

Infect
If a Beast of Nurgle directly kills a player and that player is not healed, and if that player is not a Big Guy or a Little Guy (Goblin or Halfling), that player's body will be infected with Nurgle's Rot (unless that player regenerates from his injury). The player remains in the DEAD box until the end of the game, at which point it will rise as a Rotter that can be added to the Nurgle team's roster if the adequate player slot is available at the end of the game.

Priest of Nurgle
Once per game, this special wizard can cast a Cloud of Pestilence on the field. The template is identical to a fireball, and like a fireball, it can be cast anywhere on the field. Roll an armor roll for every standing player who is not either a Beast of Nurgle or a Rotter caught in a Cloud of Pestilence. If the armor roll fails, the player resists the effect and remain standing. If it succeeds, the player is stunned (whatever the result of the injury roll). A turn over occurs only if a player holding the ball succumbs to the effect.

Adept of Nurgle
The Adept of Nurgle can perform one of the following tasks once per game :
-He can allow a Beast of Nurgle or Rotter having just failed his Regeneration roll to re-roll the result.
-He can be used as a normal apothecary to heal any other player than a Beast of Nurgle or Rotter.

Is It A Touchdown?
Is It A Touchdown? can also be used when the team possessing this card pushes the opposing team's player into the endzone. In this case, the moving team's turn ends immediately and it gets the extra blitz granted by the card. If the ball carrier is still in the endzone at the end of the card's effect, then the normal procedure for scoring during an opponent's turn applies. But, if the ball carrier isn't in possession of the ball anymore after the card is played, the team's turns resume as normal (thus, it is now the turn of the team that has been denied the TD).

Miraculous Recovery
The card can also be used to cure a player missing the game (MNG) instead of a player suffering from a permanent injury. It can only cure one injury, MNG or permanent injury, even if the MNG is caused by a permanent injury gained during the previous match. Also note that this card cannot be exchanged to the opponent.

Wood Elves and Treemen
Wood Elves can now have two Treemen on the field if both are available, regardless of the team being in premier division or not.

Spy
As much as possible, this card must be played before the opponent re-rolls the result that Spy is being used on. It is not always easy to do so online, and some leniency should be accorded, but if the coach playing this card obviously waited for the result of the re-roll before playing Spy, then the card cannot be used. It is not wasted, however, and can be used correctly at a later time.

Diving Tackle
3.0916 A player may only be blocked by a player with Diving Tackle if his entry into the player's tackle zone was voluntary. Thus, a player cannot be blocked by a Diving Tackle if their entry into the square was the result of a card (Sewer Map, Labbatt's Flying Fist, etc), being pushed by another Diving Tackle player (even if the push is controlled via Side Step), or by any other reason other than the player's voluntary movement.
3.0917 A player with Diving Tackle cannot use the skill against a player entering his square via the use of Diving Catch. This is the only exception to the rule of Diving Tackle and voluntary movement.

Wild Animal
3.4813 You must roll for every Wild Animal that is standing or prone before moving any other player on your team -- excluding Wild Animal's that are stunned. Stunned Wild Animal can be put prone at any time without risk of an Illegal Procedure.

Interceptions
14.08 A Java applet Interception Utility to find out if a certain player can intercept a pass or not can be found here. Note that a player doesn't absolutely need to be standing between the thrower and the catcher in order to intercept the ball, as per the official rules. He can also try if he's flanking the thrower or catcher as the Interception Utility reflects. This is done to slightly augment the occurance of interceptions.

Leader on premier teams
19.03 [...] In the rare event that the designated Team Captain already has the Leader skill, then he can choose a normal skill instead.
