GAME PIECES

Players in the Dugout 1.0 Moving A Player
When the game has been started, the two team's players are placed in their respective dugouts. To move a player to the pitch simply hold down the left mouse button on the player and drag it to the square to which you want to move. Then, release the mouse button to drop him. The same technique is used when a player moves during the game. If a player is injured during the game, he is moved to the BH, SI or Dead dugout-box by dragging him with the left mouse button.

Numbers 3 and 4 have moved 2.0 Identifying Players Who Have Moved
When a player has been moved during the team's turn his marker will appear as if it is pushed down. Also, a player who stood up from being prone will appear pushed down. However, this effect is only for players on the team whose turn it is. Each time a turn marker is moved all players are reset to the up position. The team whose team marker was most recently moved is considered to be the team currently taking its turn.

Counting squares to the ball 3.0 Counting a Player's Movement
To show the opponent your player's movement, ball scatter etc., use the left mouse button to place numbers from 0-15 on the pitch. This is done by simply left-clicking on empty squares once to add the numbers. Removing the numbers is done by left-clicking on the number.

Standing, Prone, Stunned, and Has Ball 4.0 Changing a Player's Status
When a player is knocked over and must be placed prone, right-click on the player and choose "prone" from the pop-up menu. If the result of the injury roll is stunned right-click on the player again and choose "stunned" from the pop-up menu. To stand a player up after being prone right-click on the player and choose "standing", or when a player gets the ball choose "has ball" from the menu.

5.0 Placing the Ball
To place the ball on the pitch, simply right-click on the square where it must be placed and choose "place ball" from the pop-up menu. Once the ball is placed on the pitch it can be moved the same way as a player by dragging it with the left mouse button. If a player is dropped onto a square with the ball that player's status is changed to "has ball" and the ball marker disappears. Also, dropping the ball on a player will change that player's status to indicate he has the ball.

6.0 Moving the Turn Marker
Moving the turn marker in the upper right side of the screen is done by left-clicking on the appropriate marker. When the turn marker is moved, all players are reset to an up position to indicate they haven't yet taken any action for the current turn. Also, the game is automatically saved to a file called autosave.sav each time the turn marker is moved.

7.0 Using Re-rolls and Changing the Score
When a team uses a re-roll, the coach must right-click on the re-roll counter to reduce the number of re-rolls remaining by 1. To add a re-roll, the left mouse button is used. The score marker is used the same way; it is raised by 1 by left-clicking on it and lowered by right-clicking.
