12.0 Selling Players and Free Agents

Players may not be traded or sold between teams. 12.02 The minimum price for a player is rookie cost plus 2,000/star player point (rounded to the nearest 10,000). 20,000gc per stat loss or niggling injury will be subtracted from the price. 10,000gp per stat increase or doubles roll will be added to the price (this includes magic helmets). There will be 20,000gc for each negative skill removed in addition to the 10,000gc for a double roll. 12.03 To release a player to Free Agency, the coach must remove that player from the roster, so that he can be placed on the free agents list by a league Commish. When a new team signs that player, the old team will be given the signing amount minus a 10,000gc transaction fee. 12.04 Players sent to Free Agency MUST have a minimum of 11 star player points. A player may not be sent to free agency if they have St+, 2 doubles or 2 stat increases. He can, however, combine a double or stat upgrade, a Magic Helmet replacing any of the former. 12.05 A free agent not sold within 90 days may be removed from the list. 12.06 Big Guy teams may not place players on the list. 12.07 Premier teams with active B-teams for the season cannot buy Free Agents. The other Premier teams don't have this restriction, but must play a minimum of 4 games after re-activation (start of the season or mid-season activation) in order to be allowed to bid on a Free Agent. |
